Vicki’s friend’s daughter breezed through primary school, but in high school something changed. She transformed from an energetic, friendly and fun loving child to an anxious teenager with eating disorders, depression and suicidal thoughts. What triggered her downward spiral? One word – bullying!
This led to Vicki passionately researching bullying and she was shocked to discover that each year almost 2 million Australian children between the ages of 8 and 14 feel suppressed, anxious and depressed due to bullying.
This was the catalyst that drove Vicki’s extensive research and her study of Life Coaching and Neuro Linguistic Programming. She realized that to bully proof your child you had to start at the grass-roots level of teaching RESILIENCE, and that prevention is much better than cure because – how will you know your child needs it until they need it?
